About The Corporation
The Jammu & Kashmir State Forest Corporation is a statutory Corporation established under the J&K State Forest Corporation Act, 1978. The erstwhile Government Lumbering Undertaking (GLU), which used to carry out extraction and sale of timber in the State, was merged into the State Forest Corporation.
Board of Directors
The Board of Jammu & Kashmir State Forest Corporation consists of the Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Seven Directors.

The Corporation has its Corporate Headquarters at Silk Factory Road, Rajbagh, Srinagar. In Jammu the Camp office is at Gladni Forest Complex and Sub-Office near Bikram Chowk, Jammu.
